Neck Pain

How the Gokhale Method can helpYou can learn to lengthen and straighten the cervical spine to restore structural integrity to the area.
This allows adequate space for the discs and healthy circulation and nerve function in the neck.
|
Where can I learn more? The positioning of the neck is specifically addressed in Session 1 of the Gokhale Method Foundations course, and in Lesson 1 of the book, 8 Steps to a Pain-Free Back. However, all sections of the course (and the book) are relevant to achieving a healthy stacking of the entire spine. |

Neck pain may be localized

It is also important to address excessive curvature in the thoracic
spine as this leads to forward projection of the neck. And it all
starts with a well-aligned pelvis. Once the pelvis is well-aligned, the
rest of the spine, including the cervical spine, will stack up erect
and relaxed.
