Turning 50

Esther Gokhale portrait and link to About Esther on the web site

I will turn 50 on 10/10/10 and I have some wisdom to share!

1. The Beatles were right - love is all there is. It is the foundation of good parenting, good healing – it puts a glow on everything.
2. Hunter-gatherers are awesome and they are us. I have been teaching primal posture for two decades and am now exploring primal dance, primal nutrition, and primal exercise - all with wonderful results. I will share more about my experiments in an upcoming blog.
3. Own your life, your body, your intelligence, your flavor – own them aggressively or commercial interests steal them away from you. Stay open to improvement, but appreciate what you have right now.
4. Be kind and generous within intelligent boundaries.
5. Learning is a treat. Go for those continuing education courses and Elder hostels. Read, listen, and talk and your life will always be full.
6. Make your relationships work, single-handedly if you have to. Begin with the ones closest in and then work your way out. No excuses.
7. Don’t shy away from tough or intimidating arenas. Those experiences teach you the most. I recommend this method in small doses since it can be a grueling process.
8. Accepting that you can be greedy, petty, or stupid at times makes growth possible. And you’ll have more fun in life.
9. Your body is the one thing you’ll have for life, so take really good care of it.
10. It’s a big favor to everyone around if you accouter yourself nicely, but it’s not an obligation.
11. Balance organization and chaos in your life.
12. Trust and be open until there’s a reason not to be.

If you are a well-wisher, connected to me in any slender or robust way, and would appreciate an invitation to my all-day healing party (acupuncture, mini-massages, dance, jamming, potluck, etc.) on Sunday, October 10, please let me know. I am hoping to be surrounded by a sea of people napping, pottering, talking, dancing and eating as I turn this corner.

Love,
Esther

SUCCESS STORY OF THE MONTH

Comfort without effort, finally! I finally feel that I understand how my body is supposed to work! The content and quality of the course are unmatched. Always gentle and welcoming, Esther had illuminating answers to every question I came up with. It is remarkable to undergo such a drastic change in so gentle a manner. Please please please refer everyone you can to Esther!!! This is a life-changing method. Esther could probably singlehandedly cut the U.S. health care budget in half if given the chance.
